which one did you try. I think only the Coolala Defender Light actually keeps them away.

Same problem, even with the defender night light. Got the mental skill high and it stopped, but the light did nothing.

Not sure if this is in relation but monsters under the bed are happening very excessively. I don't own the pack that has the night lights and every single night since the last update there's a monster under the bed, all her kids are always tired and can't sleep through the night their mum is suffering too as they wake her up evernight asking her to spray it. I have four child sims and sometimes the monster comes two or three times a night on different beds so all the kids are always terrified of the monster, screaming incoherently at each other and have the looming dread moodlet and everyday I'm having to solve their fear of the dark. Even when I proactively get their mum to spray the monster under the bed before all the kids go to sleep the monster still comes, the other night it was under two different beds at the same time. On the positive though it's a great way to rack up aspiration points for them 😉
PS4 no mods, CC or in game cheats also I use normal single beds for the kids and not beds from the kids furniture category.
