I'm unable to list any craftables on Plopsy. The option is greyed out. I know for a fact that I was able to list it right before today's patch.

I am experiencing the same “Ruined by water” problem with anything my sim has created. Problem started immediately after the September 18th update. I use no mods/CC in my game. I’m glad to hear it will be addressed on the upcoming update on October 2nd, since my sim makes their living from selling their crafted items on Plopsy.
