When I click a wedding arch to call off a wedding, then my sim starts yelling at their partner and when the interaction ends then a scandal is triggered but no negative buffs are added. The relationship progress doesn't change. Both sims look happily at each other. I can immediately get them married again. All interactions on a wedding arch are enabled.
I remember it differently before. Sims were getting buffs "dodged the bullet" and "left at the altar" and there was a relationship decrease. Now this moment is not dramatic at all as both partners are happy and keep on romantic interactions.
