So My sim is ready for a baby. But after they tried... when I wanted to see if she actually got pregnant or not. No options for any tests. I don't use any mods or cc... Did the general sims shop ran out of pregnancy test? did they all spoil befor the new shipment arrived?

Ive had the same issue, the only way I figured out my sim was pregnant was by checking how many days until she ages up. I hovered over the next age (in my case, Young adult -> Adult) and it said pregnant sims cant age up. maybe 24 sim hours later (not exactly sure how long it took) I finally got the option to test. I'm hoping this can be fixed quickly since this is a household I would like to start a legacy challenge with.

Yeah your correct I had the same problem and you can't put the plates in the trash or the dishwasher we could before.
My sims tried for a baby and there is no selection for “Take pregnancy test.” I’ve been also experiencing bugs with dragging objects not going in trash cans or fridges. Please fix this Sims 4 devs, I want to progress my Sims 4 challenge.
I'm also facing the same problem and when my sims tried for a baby, nothing appeared on the toilet, buttt when I see my sims info, it says that she is pregnant (shift + press on sim), and I could enable labor. Realllly needing the bug fixed ASAP
I agree with Nemesims, why would they need the save files for when literally everybody complains about the issue? It's in the core of the game, they broke it because they don't check their game before each update.. So they don't need anybody's save files, just imagine how long that would take with how many people play the Sims? they need to fix what's inside, it's not a rare occurence that could happen because of the saves. The blame isn't on the players; we feed them, so maybe we have the right to ask for a working game for a change.
And I'm saying this with true affection, we all just want our game to be playable again and because we spent a lot of money on it.

I am having the same problem.. There is no option on toilet for pregnancy test. Is this ever gonna be fixed????

But maybe we should give them the save files, anyway. Maybe that will help them fix the problem, as far as we know.
Best I can tell the failure started happening around 7/7/25 or 7/8/25 for me. I play rotationally with frequent pregnancies and births in families. Suddenly the pregnancy test option did not appear after multiple tries to get pregnant for one sim. She was an existing sim that I moved into San Sequoia for the first time. It did finally happen but I can't recall how I got it except by multiple Have Baby attempts and I think I also changed to manage worlds to check on another family.
Also this sim after getting pregnant and having a positive test finally did not get maternity leave and joining at hospital for birth didn't work when in labor. I tried resetting her and checking in, not checking in, she just remained in labor. Sent her home and delivered at home finally.
