I’m having the same issue on console, really annoying since I’m going for platinum and now won’t be able to get the achievement for the astronaut career
Edit: I might have found a workaround, I had my sim quit the career and originally he was at level 6 and he had gotten two raises beforehand, he was offered the job at level 8 and that’s the level he would be at had he gotten the promotion.
