No Promotions. Getting Raises instead

Same issue for me. Started a new save, base game only, no mods/cc. Playing through the part-time jobs first (Renaissance Sim aspiration), and hit a wall with the Retail Worker job. She gets a raise every single day she works, or even if she takes a vacation day, but does not get promoted to the next level. Something tells me a shelf-stocker making $363/hour isn't intentional.
Editing to give additional information: Job performance bar is never reaching max, yet she still gets a raise at the end of her shift each workday (or vacation day), and she gets not +1 but +3 in terms of raises. (Saw it jump from +33 to +36 from one day of going, and again +36 to +39 the next day.) Additionally, the performance bar resets at 1am in-game each day. She also gets a moodlet/buff for getting a promotion, despite not actually getting promoted each day.
Editing again to add: Definitely seems tied to the Entreprenurial trait. I did have that on my sim and had read others' comments stating the same. I removed the trait and finally, she did not get a raise the next day at work. So temporary workaround, I guess, but hopefully will be fixed soon enough. It must have been about that time that I got the reward trait and not tied to her actual job choice. Highest paid shelf stocker ever! (At least she has a healthy rainy day fund now!) She got promoted the next time, and the salary popup is amusing!
