Definitely happening as of the latest update, multiple sims in my household are affected, for example my one sim is an investor (8) but has 39+ raises, usually those + raises are only given after you reach the top of the career , my other sim is a professor (8) +27 raises; they'd reached the top of their previous careers before this update with no issue.
