Same issue! My sim is in the eSport gaming career, stuck at level 8 and getting raises every other day, but no promotion. Performance reverts constantly back to average when they get home from work. They were originally stuck at level 5 and suddenly jumped to 8 without any notice, and are now stuck there. And just noticed someone commenting that it might be linked to the "entrepreneurial" trait, and my sim does have that, so might be a bug related to it.
