yes, i have this trait but ive never had any problems with it before; i usually started my careers at level 4 (or 5?) when entering them first time and got promoted normally level by level
ive only had the bug since the enchanted by nature update
also my daughter doesn't get promoted in her drama club, she is stuck at level 1 despite fullfilling all requirements :(
It's a new bug from the July 1 update. That's why you haven't had problems with it before.
