I pay on console, PS5 with no add ons.
I am currently on MVP +25 and continue to get raises DAILY instead of promotions. I tried quitting and reapplying to the job. I tried playing hooky-- even on days I played hooky, I got my raise and bonus instead of going down in job performance. I wasn't even there!
I tried resetting the console. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I tried playing another household for a bit to try to "reset" this one. I'm at a loss.
Do you have the entrepreneurial trait that you buy in the aspirations reward store? I'm having the same problem and I read that is where the bug might be 😞
This was the culprit for me as well. As soon as I removed the trait, I started getting promotions again.
but how can I remove it on Ps5?
To remove the trait, you have to enable and use cheats. Unfortunately, for ps5 users, this disables trophies for that save file.
I removed my trait on my sim although it's still the same. My other sim in the same household has the trait and he gets promotion as he should. So I don't understand why this is happening
update - I doubled checked to see if the trait was removed from the traits.remove_trait <TraitName> cheat I used last time, and it wasn't removed and I never noticed it. I removed it again using the same cheat and it worked this time. Thank you for helping me out!
