I'm having the same issue, after my sims graduate university and start their career they never get promoted. They only get a raise everyday, I end up at like level 8 in the career with +32 raises. This seems like a fairly new problem because when I played a couple months ago this wasn't an issue. I tried quitting and restarting the job and even tried other careers and I get the same result. At this point my sims aren't even going to their jobs but getting raises everyday. I would like to add that I use a PC and have no mods.
