There's a work around for this problem peeps, read the earlier comments. Not ideal but I haven't had this problem since. I wouldn't expect this to be resolved any time soon, in Sim Bug Terms, this is still quite new and has not even been recognized as a bug yet. Give it another 6 months. :-)
which work around?
Sounds like some people had luck quiting the job and the getting rehired at the level the should have been. Have not tested myself, as I just cheated the promotions with testing cheats.
