Sim joined painter career, promoted as normal until level 6 where we have to choose a career path. After this, no more promotions, just earning a raise. I tried with multiple careers and it still occurs. Every time my sim finishes work and starts daily task, the performance bar rests from excellent to average.

Entrepreneurial is a base game trait, but it can not be equipped or even viewed in Create-A-Sim mode. It is a reward trait bought with satisfaction points and you can check if your Sims have it in live mode by accessing the personality tab of the control bar in the bottom right corner of your screen. The icon for it is a black suitcase overlayed with a a jagged green upwards arrow:
If they do have it, you can get rid of it by using the cheat traits.remove_trait trait_Entrepreneurial (which does work without testingcheats for me).
Is anyone else having the same problem where it gives your Sim raises instead of promoting them? I'm not even at the top of my career yet.
How did you get did of the trait? I tried removing the entrepreneur skill but the skill cheat doesn’t work.
I haven't had an advancement in the apothecary career. I ONLY get raises. I'm level 8 but with plus 22 now but I can't go to level 9 or 10. I'm level 10 in all needed skills but no advancement ( console player )

I'm playing on Xbox (no mods or CC, only Get to Work EP) and after playing after 2 weeks away, I'm getting this issue.
When do they fix this😭 still only raises and the bar resets to average every day.
I'm on PS5 and I can't use Cheats to get Promotions bcs of the Trophys
The entrepreneurial trait is the cause of this issue I have to resort to using cheat code traits.remove_trait entrepreneurial on all of my sims to resolve this issue
Started for me today after having my sim purchase the Entrepreneurial trait.
I have two sims in my game. One with the entrepreneurial reward trait and the other doesn't have it. The one that does have the trait reward, won't get promoted past lvl 9 in any career. The one that doesn't have it, I can get it to career lvl 10. Makes it frustrating. I'll have to start over again and see if it fixes it.
I play on pc and have had the same thing. two diff households with two diff careers and its still happening. i dont use mods or cc at all. started happeing after the last update
