No 'Return Home' icon after 'Jogging to clear mind'

When Sims are jogging or away from home lot, but still in area, there is no little house icon to click and return home.

    how far away are you from the house ? Have you tried going a bit farther ?

    Does it never appear for Sims that are in another place in the same hood or just when you go jogging ?

    Just when Jogging, specifically "Jogging to clear mind" with teen. In Brindleton Bay, I am under the bridge by the pier shore, the home lot is the big 64x64 lot.
