Noble sims will not completely delete

Wow, this is troubling. I was going to delete the sims in my main save, but I am so glad I haven't done that. I was unsure of all the play mechanics with the new R&L pack, so I started a new save and kept the orignal sims in the game even though I don't really like them. I'll try in a new save to simply evict them and see if that causes any problems. Hopefully eviction will be enough at the moment without breaking the save. 

I haven't had a sim pull Simcalibur from the stone yet. I wonder if a sim pulls the sword, becomes Monarch, then eventually dies, what happens to the sword? Does it get passed on to their chosen hier? Or are there the same problems you mentioned happening, even with a chosen heir?

Also, if the nobles in the game are evicted, can they still pull the sword and become monarch? Or do NPCs not get to pull the sword? Hopefully it's meant for only played sims so we can control that storyline.
