Occult eye colours swap to non-occult colours

Hi,

Recently, I've seen a 'bug' where my infant and toddler sim's eye colours will keep swapping from occult colours ton regular non-occult colours when changing their clothes. I haven't tested it with child and upwards sims yet, but it doesn't seem to be happening with my YA, adult, and elder sims.

I have MODs, but this happened without MODs in the game.

I own all packs apart from Bust the Dust (kit) and Party Essentials (kit).

Any help would be appreciated as it's kind of irritating. Thank you! :)

    Hello crinrict

Sorry, I took a bit of a break from the game after this was posted. I just booted up the game again today with my mods all removed, and the glitch with the eye color changing is still happening. This is only happening with occult eye colors, and only with children/infants. As I mentioned previously, the father of this child has the same occult eye color, and it doesn't affect him. I believe this occurs between loading screens, but I am not completely sure.

crinrict ok sounds good. Just to confirm, this does affect child occult sims. I will test teens soon.

  • crinrict I have been playing with these sims more since making this post, and I thought I'd give an update.

When they were children, I couldn't go into CAS at all without their eye colours changing. This was only when I selected a non-base game colour, which would then immediately swap to a base game colour when I left CAS. I ended up caving in and giving them base game colours while they were children.

However, they have now aged up to teens, and I'm still experiencing this problem. I am currently in CAS changing their outfits, and every time I swap from one of those sims to another, their eyes change.

I originally thought this might be connected to the patch that gave infants, toddlers, and children the ability to have non-base game eye colours, and maybe the game still thought these ages shouldn't have access to them. However, since it's now still happening with teens, who always had access to those colours, I think it might be a non-related bug.
