Painting Progress Not Visible in Sylvan Glade

If you take your easel in your inventory and travel to Sylvan Glade, when painting a canvas you will notice that throughout the entire painting process the canvas will be blank and you cannot see the painting progressing. This happened to me every time I tried to reproduce a Painting by Reference. I haven't tried other painting categories.
