Not to be confused with the "plants not producing harvestables" bug as this is an entirely different bug which I am reporting.
Perfect plants are supposed to reward the player with extra harvestables but they are currently only producing the same amount of harvestables as a basic plant.
You can fix this by going into build mode when your perfect plant is ready to harvest, simply place your perfect plant in a different spot. This will spawn the correct amount of harvestables onto the plant then you can place it back to its original location but you must do this every single time the plant is ready to be harvested. It's very frustrating because when you have a large garden this takes up a lot of time especially since you have to do this every in game day for the plant.
I am using no mods at the moment and this bug has been happening for years on both my xbox and PC but I never noticed it because I never realized you are supposed to get more harvestables from perfect plants. So this feature is completely missing from the game unless you do the fix every time you collect harvestables.
