I frequently have the problem of my child and teen Sims going through a noisy phase, and I don't have any options for the parents to correct it. It's annoying because they listen to music very loudly.

It is extremely annoying and can trigger angry emotes from one or both of the parents and their siblings, too. But honestly, I thought it was a part of the gameplay since not all child/teen Sims go through this phase. I've been treating it like the "not getting enough attention" phase child/teen Sims go through and have been working it into the family story until they outgrow it. 🤷🏽♀️
Yes this is happening to me too, no mods, not sure why there aren't enough reports as I've seen many people complain about this on other sites, but there's no option to "influence to be quiet" and it isn't just teen sims with this phase, but also child sims. It's extremely annoying.
I didn't think this was a bug, but really a teen-phase. Usually they outgrow it on their own, but not without annoying every other Sim in the house first 😅. I would just turn the stereo off until they outgrow it.
