Game Skipped an Entire Week and Auto‑Aged My Teen Sim

After updating the game, my save fast‑forwarded an entire in‑game week. I was actively playing on Sunday, and my teen Sim was supposed to age up the following Saturday. After the patch, I loaded the save and the game had jumped straight to the next Sunday — the day after her birthday. She was auto‑aged to Young Adult, and I missed her high school exams, graduation, and her birthday. All of her teen friends were auto‑aged as well.

I have included screenshots showing the calendar prior to the update and after the update for comparison.

For additional reference, the correct pre‑update calendar appears at the end of Episode 38 in my gameplay series. The post‑update gameplay showing the skipped week and auto‑aging appears in Episode 39 (which will be available for viewing on April 19, 2026). Playlist link:

Thanks for the reply, but I shouldn't have to go back and look at backups to recover saved games.

The only mod I have is MCC, but I haven't had it enabled for some time.  Playing on PC.

There is an existing report for Sims aging up when they shouldn't but skipping the week, I haven't seen any reports for that.

The problem with this is, you would need to load a backup in any case cause it's not something a patch would reset. So if it gets more report and they fix it, it's the kind of issue that won't revert with a fix.

It would also be interesting to know if it happens again.
