This issue has been happening since I purchased the game and seems to come and go. Lately, it's been every time I play and completely game-breaking, making me want to throw my console into traffic.

I haven't figured out how to fix this, but I do have a workaround. This irritated me so bad that I plugged a keyboard and mouse into my Playstation and just use that. It ONLY happens when using the PS controller.
Yeah its super annoying the only way to never experience the bug is to use mouse and keyboard, but when im on my couch I just want to relax with my controller.
