The game has forgotten to add a restriction to prevent lots in both Granite Falls and Selvadorada from being able to have Haunted House Residential. (Tiny homes and R Rentals are disabled).
This lets you have sims live in the vacation world, which causes unexpected behaviours and causes issues when you try to travel to different lots.
Haunted Houses should not appear here
Making these worlds into residential would be a way better fix, since these are the only 2 worlds (Batuu doesn't have lots) where you could potentially live but the game artificially limits their potential.

Even if that true. (I'm not commenting) I don't think a bug report from 6 months ago is the best place to discuss a game wide problem that does not directly help improve or complete this one specific bug report.
Regardless if you feel its harmless, it creates confusion and unrealistic expectations for how the game is intended to function.
And some would argue that the Sims 4 integrity regarding bug fixes is being chipped away, little by little, with each bug... which is harmful for the longetivity and reputation of The Sims 4.
You may feel it's harmless, but letting a bug go unfixed for years, to the point where it's being promoted by EA Creators as a feature.... This is not professional or reasonable at all and it needs to be addressed ASAP before it gets worse (more bugs promoted as features for years, instead of being fixed).
James Turner used to say, "its in the game and they have yet to fix it" in regard to taking a picture building friendship. I think its more of a case-by-case basis. That will make it hard to keep up with. Tho I do think they might want a line somewhere to determine if people go too far.
Plus, this harms no one. I do want it fixed but is it really harming anyone?
EA_Solaire - I want to apologize in advance if I am rude at all in this post. I'm just extremely frustrated and confused with the new status "Awaiting Additional Reports" assigned to this bug. Any insight as to why this bug isn't "Under Investigation" would be much appreciated. 💚
Moving forward, this is a well-known bug in the community.
Also, there are Sim-influencers promoting this bug as if it is a feature... some of them are even apart of the EA Creator Network. Obviously, this bug is not by intentional design... but besides more votes, what reports exactly is EA/Maxis waiting on? I guess what I'm asking is; what exactly is needed from the community to resolve this? Do you need save files? Or is it just a matter of more votes and being popular? I guess I'm just confused as to why the status has been changed on a very well-known bug in the Sims 4 community.
The Maxis Team might want to discourage content creators in the EA Creator Network from promoting bugs to the community as if it's a feature in the game. While I appreciate content creators bringing attention to bugs, promoting bugs that have existed for years, as if they are intentional features... It's just misleading and creates confusion amongst the community.

I have the same issue, the game thinks you are stuck in an eternal vacation mode basically.
