Everytime my sim is in a rabbit hole and I'm trying to create or prepare a family recipe for the next task, it doesn't work and I get an LE. I don't get the pop up menu for the food, the action doesn't show up in the line of tasks at all. I tried a few rabbit holes and it don't work out with any of them.

Could you please post the LE you're getting.
You can find the file in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
