I noticed this problem as well since Adventure Awaits. My sim lives on the lighthouse island in Brindleton Bay with No Trespassing trait. My game is heavy modded and I've disabled any and all walkbys on the island. The only sims that ever show up are invited situations by me or the mailman npc to deliver bills. Since the update a random sim would appear after 8pm and stand around for a few hours outside my house and then leave around midnight. I inspected them with MCCC and when they first arrive they have the hidden TrashDiver trait/buff. Since I've also disabled the AutonomousRummaging interaction with MCCC previously, they would just stand around for a few hours before leaving. I dug through the XML and its tied to the Trashcan/Dumpster Object tunings inside and outside your house. Whenever trash is emptied into them it schedules a new situation to appear at the next available time block of 8-12pm to have a random sim show up and rummage through. The tunings are the object/object_dumpsters etc. I disabled the scheduling inside the bins XML that creates that situation and also the SituationJob_TrashDiverNPC and they no longer show up on any lots. I believe the bug lies with those tunings and would start looking into those files to fix it

I'm guessing something went haywire with the fix for trash bins in the wild being empty (now they are full again), and/or the fairy tuning, so they still show up but not in their fairy form. So uninvited visitors AND trash really make for a fun time (NOT)

Until now I thought the trashcan kicking was due to angry townies needing to vent. This has been an enlightening read. 🤔
