Random Sims coming onto property to rummage through or Knock Over Trash Bin

Same here. My sims trash can is constantly being knocked over. The NPCs are not even angry, just empty the trash out and knock it over.  I tried Scumbumbo's scanner mod to remove the autonomous behavior but they're NPCs so that isn't going to work. It's all picking up trash. the lot already has the "No visitors" trait. 

Trash cans constantly kicked. Including the ones that in theory can't be kick over. Sometimes guests pick up the can, but the game still sees it as needing to be picked up, so it can't be used. Eventually it stops working and I have to replace it. 

This has been happening to me in my game for a long time now and it is so irritating. Locking the gates doesn't seem to work either? I get Sims walking in and kicking the bin, taking my flowers from my garden and one even tried to climb through my window which I didn't even know was a thing?!

This is happening to me too. It started after the 150+ bug fix patch. I also get Sims coming onto my lot to start a conversation with my Sim when they're gardening and I don't even know them. I have taken to building a fence around my entire lot, not just the trash can area.

Omgosh yes the flowers! I did an Easter event where, apparently the easter bunny leaves flowers everywhere, which I ignored, thinking nothing of it. But those people also either stole them, or planted them where they lay!!

I'm like... I didn't want random plants growing everywhere actually... 🤔

Oh! There's like, one specific window from like.. the High School or University packs or.. gosh maybe the Werewolf pack that has ONE window you can sneak through! 😆

I play on a Windows 11 PC with no mods or CC. I have all of the EPs and game packs, and most of the stuff packs. I looked to see if this has been reported, particularly because it's all over the Reddit TS4 sub, so I know I'm no the only one having this issue. I saw that someone else had attempted to report the bug and had the thread closed due to multi-report or something, so my report has to do with the absolute obsession random sims, who my household doesn't even know, have with rummaging through my outdoor garbage can EVERY NIGHT and then kicking it over after they get garbage all over my yard.

In the past, before the July 2025 patch, I rarely had my outdoor garbage can kicked over. It generally only happened when L Faba visited the household, and rarely ever did a random townie kick it over. Now, my garbage can gets kicked over EVERY night, because EVERY night some random person is rummaging around in it, getting garbage all over the ground. This has happened across multiple new saves, and is still happening in the brand new save I started today after downloading the most recent patch. 

Same here . I have had to put my trash can  in a fenced off area and set it so only family members can go through the gate to it . So so annoying as you cannot tell them to leave when they come to do it 

This has been happening to me constantly ever since I started playing the sims again a week ago, might end up putting a gate in front of my bin since it's so infurating.
