Sometimes sims who are just walking through the neighborhood seem to cut through my sims’ backyard and house. My sims don’t know them, and haven’t invited them in. They just walk through and go?

crinrict this happened in newcrest actually, several times. they walk through the back gate and through the house and out the front door, then just carry on through the neighborhood as normal. they don’t clip through anything likerachelandrea said. they also don’t ring the doorbell either, just leave out the front door and carry on.
It does sounds like the issue that happened with apartments. Maybe it has just expanded to all lots.
I've just seen this in The Shipping Views in Evergreen Harbor, random townies walking through the main room to get to the other side or to knock on the main door. At Caldera Camp (Sulani) random townies will walk in and get a glass of water and leave the empty glass on the floor by the sink, even if the doors are locked. This has been a long standing bug for years. I have seen my own sims autonomously walk into homes that they haven't been granted access to, to use the facilities.
