Sometimes sims who are just walking through the neighborhood seem to cut through my sims’ backyard and house. My sims don’t know them, and haven’t invited them in. They just walk through and go?

this has been happening for a while - and just happened in my game after three other unrelated bugs in a row. In the past they'd show up, use my grill to make one of the outdoor retreat concoctions that I can't delete and will not use just to clutter up my sims house. Then it was water glasses. Now it seems to be lumps of clay they all have in their pockets. They show up at my lot, stand at the door, and then invite themselves in to do these weird tasks without being invited in in the first place. My sims don't even know them.
