That's right, I mean the research option. I use mods, but I cleared the mods folder to check. I checked it on a clean save on different lots (residential and public) and in the interlot space. The problem is observed specifically in Windenburg Park (I checked it on chrysanthemums)
Does it work if you check a chrysanthemums on a different lot ? Doe other plants in the Windenburg park work ?
I did a test with other plants and different characters in Windenburg Park. Plants planted by characters can be studied. As for the plants that are in the flower beds at the start of the game - they cannot be studied. Apparently the problem is not that they are in the park, but that they were originally there.
