Returning from other lot makes all Sims come home from school/work

I am experiencing this issue on xbox with the newest patch (Nov 4 2025) installed. It has presented itself in two different ways, with two different households in my rotational save. The first instance took place when a Culinary career sim went to work from a community lot. After the loading screen, I was brought back home like normal, but the sim I sent to work was paid $1 and loaded at his home lot with no option to click the  "Go to Work" button on the career screen. I guess the game counted the day as finished. The second instance was with a tech guru career sim. I sent them to work successfully, but after about four hours decided to visit a gym lot with that sim's husband (alone, I selected no other sims). After the loading screen, I was paid out as if the tech guru finished his day, but it was 4 hours too early. In this situation, the sim who was supposed to be at work didn't spawn on the community lot. They simply were available to call to the locale from home. Again with no ability to click "Go to Work" 

I am having this issue as well for my kids who are supposed to go to school.  I AM using mods and CC but since you're not, I would assume this is a game issue and not mods.  I've had no issues since the update with this, until today, and since yours was happening before the update, I'll assume it was a pre-existing issue.  It's not all of my sim kids, but 3 of 4...originally it was just 1 but I exited without saving and came back and now it's 3.  

Replying, again, to elaborate that after more play this seems to heavily impact the Culinary career. None of my culinary sims can finish a shift if I travel between lots as another member of their household. I have four different houses in that career track within my save and have experienced this issue with every single one.

It was Sunday. In my household of four sims, both adults were at work while the teens were at home. I traveled with one of them to another lot and then returned home. Both parents, who were supposed to still be at work, had returned home.
