same here. even the non-noble sim within the same household bought a residential rental from other world, the other noble sims within the same household will be demoted.
sometimes the rank and noble title are mismatched after I made the noble sim promoted to the same rank as it supposed to be (without cheat).
I didn't save that save but one of my sim is the Kingdom Leader (LV10) but had the noble title (by career) Grand Duchess (LV9) of the world they live (let's say San Myshuno).
the other noble sims with lower rank (let's say LV9) had LV1 noble title of the world of the residential rental (in that save was Ciudad Enamorada). and if I killed that sim, their children (life stage: child) still had the noble title by parent stuck permanently.
it was too messed up so I recovered the old save.
