[RL] Noble's Family Career Info doesn't show up in panel

One of my sims joined the Noble career after their teenage sim enrolled in University after graduating early. Since then, the Career Panel only shows the title of the sim in university over a grayed out block that scrolls the length it would for if university classes show. The sim can go to classes and do assignments, but I cannot see when their classes are or the requirements. I have removed mods and repaired the game, neither of which fixed the issue.

I play on PC

Edit By crinrict: Added pack tag to title.

I'm also encountering this problem! PC Player, usually modded with MCCC (but I have attempted the same fixes as mentioned above, including doing so without any mods installed, same issue appears).

The only thing that seems to work is forcing both Sims to quit being nobles - once the noble title is removed, my sim who was employed as a judge had their career panel show their correct career again. If both sims were nobles, however, the career panel showed the noble career path just fine. It doesn't seem to affect gameplay - my sim still got popups for "jump start" assignments and career-related options on the computer, but I'm unable to see career performance or daily tasks and the like.

Following up with a screenshot of the problem, and actually - it looks like the career IS showing, but potentially just stacking in the wrong direction from the noble title? That sliver of green/white on the side disappears when I use the vertical scroll bar, so potentially it's just a matter of where the game is trying to display my sim's career - aka in a horizontal stack versus vertical?

I’m experiencing the same issue. My parent Sim is in the Aristocrat career, and the child Sim is a Secret Agent, but their career panel appears completely blank.

All the other siblings display correctly, and this issue only affects this one Sim. The Aristocrat career is the only one that displays normally.

I’m wondering if this might be related to the fact that this Sim dropped out of high school and later graduated online, but I’m not sure what’s causing it.

So I had this issue too, but the sim (Royal title by marriage) that had the issue was also a small business owner. I transferred the business and then transferred it back to the same person and now I can see my career panel. I don’t know if that’ll help everyone but it helped me. You do lose your employees when you transfer tho… that’s a bummer.

I'm having this exact issue as well! The adult sim in the household that is in the noble career has a working panel, but the spouse with a different career seems to have a formatting issue in their career panel. In both my game and your picture, there's a teensy sliver of green on the right that can be clicked on that collapses the white line beneath it, leading me to believe it's the career panel's usual info just shunted much too far to the right.

  • I will start by saying I have searched google for days and tried all the things I have found with no luck. I have no mods, I have no CC, and I have no idea how to fix this.

My sim started in the noble career, and the career panel shows just fine. The title at the top and then the career path underneath it. My spouse sim is the problem. It shows the noble title from marriage and then no career. After fiddling with it for a while I have discovered that it is off screen on the right. You can just barely see the green part of the info bar in the attached screenshot.

I'm at a loss. Like, the game is still playable, but it's annoying without being able to see anything in careers and knowing what tasks to complete to get promoted.
