[RL] Noble's Family Career Info doesn't show up in panel
One of my sims joined the Noble career after their teenage sim enrolled in University after graduating early. Since then, the Career Panel only shows the title of the sim in university over a grayed out block that scrolls the length it would for if university classes show. The sim can go to classes and do assignments, but I cannot see when their classes are or the requirements. I have removed mods and repaired the game, neither of which fixed the issue.
So! I thought I hadn’t seen the bug in my first noble’s household and… yeah. The Queen of Windenburg’s adult kids:
I’m trying to remember what I did differently with this family, and all I can think of is that Queen Phoebe, their mother, is Vlad’s fledgling and was part of his dynasty when she joined the career. I only created her dynasty after she got a Want to do so. I might try dissolving and re-creating a dynasty with a bugged career panel.
Edit: that didn’t help. Is it because Phoebe was the first noble I created in this save?
Edit again: No, that's not right. Vlad was first. I popped into his household out-of-rotation and popped back out.
Edit redux: I spent a lot of time trying things. I created parents in CAS.fulleditmode. I gender-swapped Sims. I demoted and promoted Sims. (I also quit without saving after each change to reset.)
I can confirm that adult sons are more likely to be affected than adult daughters (but gender-swapping the kids and having them quit and rejoin their careers does nothing). I demoted King Vlad and promoted his wife over him (since Queen Phoebe) and had the adult son quit and rejoin, but no. It’s not whether they previously had a career, as I cheated Oberon to be King and his household is unaffected. (Phoebe was a level 10 actress, Vlad was unemployed and living off painting and music royalties. But Oberon was also previously unemployed.) I moved one affected household out of Queen Phoebe’s world. None of it made a difference. But there has to be a reason why Phoebe’s line and Oberon’s line are fine and Vlad’s and Roland’s (Count in Phoebe’s world) are affected. I just haven’t figured it out yet. But I did share my save, so there’s that.
My sim graduated early and is just doing side hustles but it says she has a job but I can’t physically see any of the tasks she has to do to get promoted as the section that would show her job isn’t appearing and now she has joined university I also can’t see that she her classes either
I'm currently experiencing this bug while my Sim is in the Acting career. He also is a royal as well and I think the tie between the two is causing the bug.
Having this same issue. I play rotational and have 2 Families that have entered the noble career. The sims in their household have not received this bug. Their adult children living in their household have. I have noticed that the males are the ones affected and not females. Another unique thing is the ones who have not joined careers yet the bug also reflects in the option that is normally listed to join a career on the career panel as well.
This bug is affecting all the males that are adults in other households that were already in a career and those who enter a career after.
The only mod I use is MCCC, however it was occurring prior to starting to use that. I have tried quitting their career and entering again; however it does not fix it.
