[RL] 'Poor Leadership' sentiment for no apparent reason

Pretty much what the title says. I'm laying with Royalty and Legacy. I have a Dynasty, and the sims in my household keep getting a negative "Poor Leadership" sentiment toward the Dynasty head for no apparent reason. This appears to be primarily triggered by changing dynasty settings, though I believe I've seen it happen spontaneously. This issue is deeply problematic for me in two ways: it creates a negative relationship between the head and the dynasty members, and when this sentiment occurs, it removes any positive sentiments the dynasty members have for the head. I play a very sentiment-oriented game, so this is quite upsetting to me.

Please fix this issue. I hate it.

  • I'm thinking that this must be a tuning issue with the dynasties, especially if it's a "new" dynasty in a "fresh" save. Which, if so, is really annoying and completely unfair. Especially since the Dynasty Head/Noble is learning alongside the player on how to raise the Dynasty Rank, and raising rank is incredibly difficult if you're not spamming related activities.

I hope this gets fixed soon.

I have had this too. Particularly after changing things in the dynasty like values, or doing noble career related things like adjusting taxes. I agree it seems to easily triggered and the cause is often unkown.

  • I am not sure, but I wonder if it just too easily triggered, when a dynasty is new (like 0-3? stars). I noticed that the same dynasty head gets the positive leadership sentiment after a dynasty seems well establish (like 5-6+ stars), also too easily. And I tend to, for the dynasty in question, leave my dynasty head pretty much to autonomous—so basically consistent behaviour.

I have gotten the negative sentiment, even if I do not edit the dynasty settings after the original set up. It just seems to be a far too easily triggered early on as a sentiment.

I have the same issue. Whenever I change anything in the dynasty settings or remove/ add someone most of the members get a poor leadership moodlet and they just hate the dynasty head.

If you aren't playing on console, I recommend using UICheats to remove the negative sentiment. That's what I've been doing. It's annoying to have to do it, and frustrating that the negative sentiment removes any positive ones. This sucks.

I agree, the dynasty feature is pretty cool. It's just badly implemented. I don't know what I expected. Not constant friction and bad feelings between my sims, that's for sure!

  • I've been dealing with this too. I know it's a bug because my sim would get the Excellent Leadership sentiment about her spouse (dynasty head) but it would quickly change back to the Poor Leadership and it will NOT go away. And then she gets all mean and angry and I'm constantly fixing their relationship and monitoring everything she's going to say. Nothing was changed in favor or prestige and unity.

Plus the bug where whenever they woohoo, they get the scandal thought bubble and she gets ANOTHER negative sentiment about feeling judged, the secret witness one. So, it totally messed up my main sim story line. Which sucks because I thought the dynasty feature was pretty cool.

Can't figure out how to edit my original post, but I just want to update to say that my dynasty head's child just got the "poor leadership" sentiment toward her spontaneously, for no apparent reason.

Please correct this issue as soon as possible. It is untenable. By that, I mean it is legitimately game ruining.
