Same - god it's annoying!!! Especially as there seem to be no way of hiding it. Hope there will be a mod available ASAP... It shows up in tab mode, it shows up with headlineeffects off... I HATE IT!!! Stop messing up my screenshots :(
While we wait. If you use mods I have found a way to get rid of this in the meantime. If you use Sim Info Manager you can remove the hidden trait called: Trait_Hidden_Scandal_Secret_VFX :D That did the job for my Sim. 🤩

Omg thank you so much!! You are a lifesaver. I dont have sim info manager but found it can also be done through MCCC too - click on sim, mccc, mc cas manage traits, remove traits and scroll to the hidden scandal vfx.

Thank you for sharing your recommendation. I was so happy, unfortunately nothing is working. My sims have the unsolvable rivalry and unfortunately hidden scandal vfx does not appear in MCCC trait list for me. And the recommended workaround traits.remove_Trait Trait_Hidden_Scandal_Secret_VFX also doesn't work.
