After tonight’s update (12.05.2026) Sims who doesn’t belong to certain dynasties but have some connection to them keep adding even after I try to manually delete them. It goes on and on. Once I leave one family enter another to fix it, it happens again.

This is happening to me too it's super annoying.
I'm having this same issue, in addition to my game adding long since deceased sims to my dynasty and causing a unity crisis. The ghosts of these sims aren't even around anymore, so I'm confused.
PC player, no mods. Every time I select my household, I get a notification that my dynasty heir has "joined" the dynasty she has always been a part of. It's not just when I start the game; if I edit or look at another family in the gallery or manage worlds and then go back, it happens then, as well.
I am having the same issue. I have several dynasties that are interconnected and every time I switch households, I need to manually switch them back to where they belong.
I don't know if this is the same bug - but after latest update my sims after loading get into their own dynasty, but loosing all the progress and ranks like they were actually just added
When will this be fixed? I can't play at all, it's messed up my entire story/game.
I have complex multi-generational families that all have their own dynasties, and now they've all been added to the same dynasty just because they're related. It makes no sense and it's ruined the story and all the work I put into the rankings etc...
The Royalty & Legacy pack is practically redundant because of this, we might as well ask for our money back. Really hope it can be fixed soon.
I also noticed that babies born into active family do not gain titles from parents until parent in noble career gets promoted I’m not sure if anyone experience the same problem…
karina_anaya97 yes, that's been a bug since the EP released. Disappointing that the last patch didn't fix this issue either!
Every time I go to CAS and come back to my game all of household Sims “rejoin” the dynasty and their rank resets every single time.
I am having the EXACT same problem and it is making gameplay for all royal dynasties related to the Thebe family (which is almost all the main ones) unplayable!! Please fix this ASAP because I love the royalty pack and really want to be able to use my Thebe save again!!
