Same problem - spellcater sim has both an ailment and a curse. Tried both the spell "Decursify" as well as the "Potion of Curse Cleansing". Neither of these worked, my sim still has the curse and I got a notification twice (once after the potion, once after the spell) stating that "Despite her best efforts, Mabel's Ailment doesn't respond to Spellcaster magic at all! She'll have to find another way. Perhaps the answer lies with the Apothecary Skill?"
I don't have cc/mods (they are disabled in the settings, never used in the current savefile). I am playing on a laptop with Windows 11. I believe it would be easy to recreate with any save, as long as a spellcaster sim has both an ailment and a curse simultaneously - there is no way to cure the curse first, it must be the ailment first and the curse second.
In my save it was the "Luck Magnet" ailment with the "Uncleansable Stench" curse, but from other comments it seems to appear with any combination of curses and ailments.
