[ROM] Infatuate Spell: 'No valid target' when there should be plenty

I have a maxed out spellcaster sim who knows the infatuate spell, but no matter who I click on to try to get a sim to have infatuate cast on them, regardless of how many available or compatible sims ...

This is happening to me as well and I play on console (PS5). My Spellcaster is a Virtuoso and completely maxed out and the spell is always greyed out.

I play on PC but have no patience for mods so I don't use them, so spiritually I may as well be a console player (I just could never get acclimated to the controls as I spent over 5 years playing Sims 3 on PC and before that Sims 2 on GameCube so when I tried playing Sims 4 on the PS5 I was so bummed that you couldn't control the Sim with the joystick, you were using it to control a cursor and I just couldn't do it. It felt like full body petting a dog the wrong direction lol)
