I started a new game for the nature event and turned my ghost sim into a spellcaster. When I was in the Magic Realm all sages were replaced by random NPCs, even though Simeon, LFaba and Morgan were still alive in this save, they were just not sages anymore.
I have no mods, and have the latest update. Not sure if it has smth to do with the update, but it is the first time I am seeing sages swapped in a new save file.

Adding my experience here too. L.Faba is the only real sage that is still in the magic realm, but Morgyn and Simeon have been replaced by randoms. Morgyn and Simeon are still "not in world", have never lived in the world in any lot, and have never been played. I have neighbourhood stories on, but have the options for Sims to move in and out turned off (since I first started the save).
How can I get them back as the sages?
