Tell sim to do something, they walk to it. While walking, the sim freezes mid-stride, nothing else freezes and other sims keep doing things. The sim's familiar keeps flying too. The sim does continue...

does it happen without the familiar out ?
I gave relevant information in another post. The freezing mid-step bug has vanished now that I've moved the household out of the enchanted neighborhood with the fairies. I've never put away the familiars, changed a few after moving but I believe I had the same familiar in the new neighborhood as I had during the bug in the enchanted neighborhood.
All the bugs I've posted have stopped since I moved the household. Ladders are working fine and no sims are freezing mid-step. All except the recent bug, joystick drift in Sims 4 only and it intermittently cancels joystick dead zones. ROG Ally allows joystick dead zone ranges. It's very small movements that cause the drift, moving the joystick far from center it behaves normally. Moving just barely off-center causes the mouse drift.
