I just got Restoration Workshop and put some of the items in my Sim's new basement. He worked on the refrigerator for a while. Even though he has handiness 9 and was doing an expert repair, the refrigerator looked the same when he left it and went to bed.
A day or two later, I sent him down to the basement to work on the fridge again, and it was gone. I tried exiting from the game and starting it again, but the refrigerator is still not there.
It could be related to a secondary bug -- or it could have caused this bug. My Sim was invisible for a short time after he was abducted by aliens. He became visible again after going to bed and getting up. And his infant daughter was invisible for a short time when I opened the game, but she became visible when I had him pick her up from the crib.
But the refrigerator seems to be gone. I could move the table next to it into the space it occupied.
I don't use mods or CC. Have all packs and a few kits.
