[S] Can't Interact with Plants that are Out of Season

Again, Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.1

Since I logged in to post the other bug, might as well post this one too. Wasn't bothering because it was just annoying, not game breaking. But I have a ton of plants, and I keep getting the evolve glitter on them, but at any given time there are about a dozen plants sparkling that I can't evolve because (out of season). It bothers my OCD. Also my plants are so packed in that it is often hard to narrow down which one is glittering since the evolve option does not show up for the plant until it is in season again. Even when I am sure that is the one glittering.

Again, not game breaking. Just annoying. Very.

  • Not the OP, but on any of my out of season plants, I can only uproot them. No watering, fertilize, etc. I'm also on Mac. Same OS.

Attached a screen shot of my options when clicking on an out of season plant that has the evolve sparkle going on it.

When a Plant is Out of Season, but also ready to evolve, the Evolve option is not available.  You have to wait until it is in season to be able to evolve it. (the constant sparkle in the garden is a bit annoying)

When a plant is out of season, the weed option is not available.  Also cannot spray for bugs.  We used to be able to do this.  The action also fails for "Tend Garden" so the weeds/bugs stay there until the plant is in season or it dies.

I agree that’s annoying. The way I’ve found to circumvent this issue is to have a sheltered planter, use BB to move the plant to it, evolve, then move it back. (It can be cumbersome on big gardens, but at least it gets rid of the sparkles.)

This is just my personal opinion, but I am pretty sure the plants are functioning as intended and they're not meant to be accessible when they are out of season. I say this because it drove me crazy too so I created a greenhouse. With the plants and trees being sheltered, I have had zero problems with it and they are all available to harvest and evolve during every season. So my conclusion was that everything was functioning as it was supposed to. Again, this is just my opinion. I just wanted to voice it for those who just want to move forward and are willing to build a greenhouse. They have some really cool roofs available for those in case you have not noticed!
