[S] Leaf Piles Spawn Slightly Off the Lot and Cannot Be Removed

I have seen the report on leaf piles and snowmen not disappearing on season changes, and it ties into this bug that I'm dealing with. I placed a tree on my lot [Canal Corner in Evergreen Harbor] and had my sim rake the leaves, and it formed this pile that was maybe a PIXEL halfway over the lot, meaning I couldn't interact with it in neither live mode or build mode.

I didn't really notice/care at first, until it started to smell and made my neat sim uncomfortable ALL THE TIME. I tried to have her go on a cleaning frenzy but she still didn't reach it. I hired a maid, had a spellcaster try to incinerate it, reset it with debug, nothing works. I moved the lot a few tiles forward to try and budge it but it didn't move with the lot. I saved the house to my library and then bulldozed the terrain and lot, and it was still there. I replaced the house and it was still there. I played this sim on a different lot until winter and of course, because of that other bug, it's STILL THERE.

I have tried everything that was suggested to me and nothing has worked. I liked Canal Corner because it's a good starter lot, but now it seems I've cursed it on my forever save.

  • If you're not opposed to using mods/cc, you can try TwistedMexi's Tool Mod or AllCheats.

With all cheats, find out the objectID of the leaf pile and then delete it (with cheats that are only available with the mod)

    • Install Mod
    • Open Cheat console
    • Enter Cheat: objects.list eaf (without the capital L) and see if it gets listed in the cheat console that way. If not, maybe try objects.list ile insted. You can also list all objects on the lot with just objects.list.
    • Write down the ID of the object.
    • Enter Cheat: objects.destroy <ID>
