[HSY] Sims route through water while sent jogging

did she go swimming or just changed clothing cause there was a body of water ? Could you post a screenshot exactly where that was (encircled on the map)

During a jog, the character moved approximately along this route. At some point during the run, they entered the water and began swimming toward the house. At the moment of receiving the hypothermia death notification, the character was at the location marked with a cross. From that point, I could no longer give commands to the Sim. They exited the water, ran to the house, and died from hypothermia.

This is not the first case in this area where characters enter the water while jogging, but it is the first time it happened in winter and resulted in death.

I would say the issue isn't that they are freezing to death but that they route through the water for jogging then.

The freezing just seems a result of that.

This is exactly what I meant when I described the problem.
