Sabotage interaction falsely available

I also enjoy the "out with the old bugs, in with the new" approach the devs have taken towards their updates.  There's nothing like that giddy feeling of anticipation you get when launching the game for the first time after an update as you try to guess as to what new and wonderful way they've come up with to break the game.

Vanilla save created this morning. 
The sim has no skills but can sabotage objects.

Yes, I have experienced seeing this too!   I own all the packs and kits and I do not use any CC or mods in my saves. I play completely vanilla so I didn’t need to remove anything.  I believe it started after the last update, 9/18/25.  I just saw this by thread by chance looking for something else.  I don’t see this as a big bug, but it is a big all the same.  The is in a save as of my oldest main save of a game started in 2014.

This has just appeared in my game too after playing for the first time since updating and the start of the Forever Friends Event. I'm on Xbox Series X with all content installed.

Update: this has now stopped after installing Adventure Awaits.

Same here. In addition, all Sims have access to all programming and hacking interactions at the computer, and they can fight with any other Sim, even those with whom they have a full friendship bar, and they continue to be mean to each other.

Same for me. I play Vanilla (No mods) on PC and just got the last update. My Sims now all want to Sabotage everything, beat up other sims and all the sims in my game are starting to hate my Sim even with positive, non-mischievous or evil interactions. Even my old saves are starting to act up.

Same here, since the last update.
Vanilla Venessa Jeong can sabotage objects and then (which is very funny) says that she doesn’t really like to perform mischief actions. 🙄
