Hi team!
My sim is showing the Sabotage! interaction on multiple items despite not having any moodlets, holidays or traits related to it.
This is a vanilla save created yesterday.
Please advise, thanks for the help!

Me too!
Same here, I play on PS4. Plumbing and electrical items on my lot now have the sabotage! interaction as an option. Definitely was not there before the recent Sept 23rd update on console.
I managed to hide this issue in my game by making an XML tuning mod.
A TestSetInstance snippet called testSetInstance_BaneTrait_OR_EncouragedByClubs had new tests added in the 1.118 patch, one test for a Trait (ID: 469046) and one test for another TestSetInstance (ID: 483388), both of which I assume are part of Adventure Awaits. Removing the test for the new TestSetInstance makes the "Sabotage!" action go away unless another condition is met.
Maybe that'll help EA find out what the real problem is?
Not only can Sims now Sabotage! objects, they can also Fight! with anyone! The interaction is available to all Sims in my save regardless the relationship status!
The Fight issue is technically a separate bug, so that should be reported separately, but...
A new test was added to testSet_FightAvailability, and all that one test does is check that a new AA trait (ID: 447353) is not present on a sim, meaning every sim passes that individual test because AA isn't out yet to grant that trait. Since you only need to pass one test in a TestSet, everyone passes the TestSet and thus everyone can fight.
I can't imagine this being intended. Blacklisting that trait should have been added to the other nine tests in that TestSet, not as a separate test.
I'm having the same issue
Yay, I'm so glad I finally updated to fix some issues (that weren't fixed) and got another new issue or two for my trouble! 👏
This is happening in the new vanilla save I made to do the event. My sim with absolute zero mischief skill has the option to sabotage everything.
All of my sims have the ability to sabotage lately as well. To my knowledge that ability isn't available unless a certain aspiration is completed. And I know 100% that I only have one sim that I have had do that aspiration. All of my sims have level 10 mischief skill and I don't remember seeing it in the mischief section before, but then I didn't really utilize malicious interactions too often so maybe it has always been in there. I just don't think so. Regardless, I do know that it has never popped up in the main options menu like it is doing now. There is always the option to sabotage items and people. It is rather a menace.
