You are correct. I noticed this happened when they introduced the new hair colors years ago. All the orignial colors dont have this issues and look more thin, but then they recolored and messed the hairline and made it more dark unfortunately. With this one I always goes for the original colors, because I prefer the wavy hairline to the straight one, and also, prefer the clearer aspect of the original colors... it looks less messy.
