[DU] Sim cannot convince other sim to do homework!

Research & Debate level 10, but when trying to convince sim to do homework with college roommates or wife they pull out homework and put it back immediately without it being completed, only "(just started)." I also have bought my wife a University Homework book to put in her inventory so we both have homework books but that doesn't work either. I just would like to earn Villainy degree and become Interstellar Smuggler without obtaining mischief skill. I asked chatGPT and they said its a known bug. Please fix EA

    do you have any links other than chatGTP where this was reported as a bug before ? 

    • Are you convincing playable characters only or does this also happen with NPCs ?
    • Can they do they're homework normally without the convince ?
    • To be sure, both Sims are currently at Uni ?

    Question 1: No

    Question 2: I am trying to have my playable character create convincing to do homework with NPC

    Question 3: Yes, but that's not what I am trying to do. If I do the homework I gain Mischief skill which I do not want. Also, which is why I acquired the Research & Debate skill to begin with. 

    Question 4: NPC wife, is not at university but has homework uni homework book in inventory. NPC college roommates, are obviously in college because I can ask about degree. My playable sim is also obviously in college.
