Sim can't walk through door

This issue has been happening for the last few days. The Sims are stuck and can no longer walk through a door that they have previously been able to walk through. As seen in the video, the cat has no issue walking through it. 

After removing the door and the wall, and trying to have the sim walk through the gap the entire game gets bugged out. It gets stuck on pause, even when selecting play or fast forward. Selecting things no longer works and the game breaks. 

Trying to either go back to the main menu or to manage world gets you stuck in an eternal loading screen.

    Hi! I tried with no mods and CC and the bug still appears. I play on PC and the sim having this issue is part of my household. When I click on "go to work" or "go to school", the blue steps with the cross appear above their heads and they refuse to go. Only removing the door and placing it back on the wall works from my experience

    It is similar yes!! Except everything goes back to normal after I deleted and put the door back on the wall (or not?? Idk its very random but its more because the bug isnt solved rather than it dissolves into a multitude of other bugs)

    It sounds like what I am experiencing except the door which encounters the bug is always the entrance 🥲

    I am having issues with my Sims not walking through any doors. None of the doors are locked; the Sims just keep pointing out that they can't walk there. I have no CC or mods, and this has just started happening. I have tried my other save files, and the same thing is happening. 

    Is anyone else having this issue? What else can I do to fix this.

    No, they don't have the tag. My Sims are not pregnant or large. All doors were working fine, and then suddenly they would not walk through them.

    Just wondering, are these builds from the gallery or were the doors possibly placed with the bb.moveobjects cheat?

    there's currently two issues that can cause this.

    Do none of your Sims walk through doors or just specific ones ? Do any have any neighbor tags ?

  • It sometimes happens in my game too. Most of that was when I played in pre-made house, Umbrage Manor in Willow Creek. I occasionally had this issue with the second floor bathroom door. And now, this issue happened in myself built house. My Sim could use the bathroom a few in-game days, and Sim used the shower at that time. But my Sim could't get out the bathroom. Sim could enter the bathroom, but could't get out...
    Maybe the following Last Exception was generated at that time. I don't yet play after this issue happened, so this LE is the latest.

  • My sims will not enter through the front door of their house. A little thought bubble with a lock pops up, but the door is never locked. I never get the "can't get to place" bubble, it's ALWAYS the locked bubble.

    I have tried getting rid of any furniture that might be in the way, I've deleted and replaced the door, even deleted the wall in case that would help anything. After going out to Manage Worlds then going back in, the glitch still continued.

    The door is on a house with a foundation and stairs leading up to it. The staircase has the landing you get from being one tile from the house, as I didn't want to waste the tiny house limit on a porch. I'm not sure if this would affect how the door functions though.

    I'm playing on PS4 with newest update as of reporting.
