Even turning off wants and fears doesn't rid your sim of the "fear of the dark" scared moodlets when they go outside.
Yep, I just noticed that. I turned wants/fears off last night before bed and saved my game. Woke up today to see that the impacted sim still has fear of the dark related moodlets appearing. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
