Since removing the "clear Perspective" trait the "Afraid of the Dark" buff now comes an goes, it no longer stays 100% of the time.
It does come frequently though and should the sims go to work with that buff - it, so far i see that the clock resets itself until they leave work/get home and then it disappears immediately.
In a couple of hours (sims clock time - game clock?) the "Afraid of the dark" reappears and so far, it does disappear after the clock runs down.
So far... I get that buff about 3 times in a 24 hour period (1 sim day). I am still keeping track but I know you don't want 100 screen shots either! Its how i am keeping track of times and info. If I notice anything else definitive, I will share with you.
an update: Even after removing the clear perspective trait - within 1 sim day - the afraid of the dark came back and never left!! I saved that game and started a new save. If this ever gets fixed, I'll have a true save with this issue so I will be able to see if it really is fixed! Creating this new save has me disturbed as it is apparent to me now, that I truly do not understand the purpose of different saves. I am on the hunt for educating myself now. Never ever cc or mod's!!!
